The Effect of Giving Cucumber Masks against Melasma in Acceptors of Combination Injection Contraception Users at the Independent Midwife Practice in Bungursari, Purwakarta, Indonesia

Background. Cucumber is one of the natural ingredients that has been widely used traditionally to maintain facial skin health. rich in antioxidants which have potential suppress inflammatory process arises due hormonal imbalances melasma sufferers use injectable contraception. This study aimed determine effect using a cucumber mask on incidence acceptors injection contraception users at independent midwife practice Bungursari, Purwakarta, Indonesia.
 Methods. was an experimental total 30 research subjects participated this study. Data analysis carried out SPSS 25 software bivariate manner masks melasma.
 Results. After first day, there improvement intervention group compared before mask, p=0.02 (p<0.05). Likewise, after second seventh p <0.05.
